Well being in Orange County, naturally I'm obsessed with everything that's un-OC. So, I've been in LOVE with Ricardo Tisci for the past 5 years, and his gowns for the latest collection are AMAZING!

MEGA URBAN MIDDLE EASTERN
Final
This trend is combining more of the urban look, edgy, modern, sophisticated, minimalistic with classic middle eastern colours, prints and inspirations. Using the prints and playing with the patterns in terms of new shapes, architectural installations as well as the clothing themselves would be jump off points for merchandising, designing objects, etc. Fabrics trending for this look/trend itself would be light leathers, wools, cashmere, silk satins, chiffons, organza, cottons, etc.
Customer: She knows who she is, and always has had a strong opinion on everything. Not only is she a leader, she is a major part of the developing world. She takes part in international developmental projects, the design world, the arts, architecture, so on and so forth.

Boutique-ing
Portobello Road
As one of only a few boutique vintage/thrift stores in the area, Portobello Road has a suprisingly good selection of vintage finds. Located in a strip mall in Lake Forest, CA, it has a very limited selection of men's clothing, a good assortment of women's vintage finds, and an excess in evening wear (unfortunately). The staple pieces are mainly shoulder-driven dresses straight out of the 80s with crazy amounts of beading/sequin.

Junya Watanabe: My Love
Junya Watanabe
The progression of the Japanese fashion industry has made me so happy. I love the technicality and the effortless way these designers are able to design there pieces, with such an amazing and endless amount of inspiration. The way the garments are draped, cut, put together, styled and inspired, Junya Watanabe is the Head of the Class. Of course with his connections to Comme des Garcons and Rei Kawakubo, he understands the necessity to be fresh and up-and-coming as well as staying true to his true roots.
Avant Garde a Pret-a-Porte
Gareth Pugh
From Gareth Pugh's latest collection, one can see where structure, minimalism, and futuristic silhouettes are taken from, translated to our every day lives. These pieces can be broken down to be worn as separates as well, but it is apparent that your everday midwestern farmer or farmer's wife is not going to be wearing this in Lincoln, NE. The acutely angled cuts, shades of grey, black and white and the garments' proportions all lend this collection to be part of the end result of mass market and wearability; of course with heavy tweaking ;)

http://www.lecuiraparis.com/fashion
As another show/branch of the mother site http://www.expofil.com/, le cuir a paris is a trend forecasting site developed for leather specifically. The site is much more intuitive and will guide you throught the current season's inspirations, colours, moods, as well as the ability to pay for the next season's trends. The site is both in English and French, is visually pleasing and contains more than enough information for both the site's show, as well as its familial counterparts. Other helpful information includes: maps, slideshows, background information as well as contact information. Thorough, clear, and concise.
In contrast to this site, Expofil.com is not as intuitive and is harder to navigate. There are hidden buttons of information, and one has to almost viusalize and think like the French to understand the site in its entirety.

STREET PEEPER ! ! ! !
http://www.streetpeeper.com/
One of my all-time favorite websites for the latest streetwear. Phil tends to focus on different cuts and silhouettes, and different looking people. Of course, most of these people are found in major cities like New York, Paris, London, Milan. However, he has found amazingly clothed people in cities like Mumbai, Copenhagen, Oslo, and Tallinn. I love how global today's society is; we are all able to learn from one another and become inspired by each other. It would have taken months, even years for us to be able to check out what someone's wearing in Milan half a century ago, if not more; whereas today, it's all bout having this information in the next hour.

STRUCTURE by madmixamo featuring an alexander wang dress
Another key trend that has had its ups and ups. With it's amazing silhouettes, hard edges, and clean lines, it is most definitely here to stay!
LACE UP
LACE UP by madmixamo featuring a layered skirt
Another key trend and theme for the upcoming and current seasons. This trend has withstood the various seasons as a go-to element in our wardrobes.
